Simple answers about GAMCA / Wafid medical appointments and our service.
FAQ
All questions
What is GAMCA / Wafid medical?
GAMCA medical (now booked through the Wafid system) is the pre-departure medical fitness examination required by GCC countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain for many visa categories. It is done at a GCC-approved medical centre in India and the result is linked to your passport number.
Is Eazy GAMCA Appointment the official Wafid or GAMCA website?
No. Eazy GAMCA Appointment is an independent, private assistance service. We are not affiliated with Wafid, GAMCA, the GCC Health Council (GHC), any government body, embassy or medical centre. You can book directly on the official website wafid.com yourself at no assistance fee. We charge a separate fee only for helping you complete the process and keeping you updated.
How much do you charge?
Our assistance fee is a flat ₹1,500 per booking – the same for Standard and Premium appointments. This is only our service fee. Any official Wafid/slip charge and the medical-centre examination fee are separate and are paid at actuals – official charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay them.
How will I receive my appointment slip?
Once your appointment is booked, we send the appointment slip to your email address. You can also check your booking status any time on our Check Status page using your booking ID and passport number.
How long does it take to get an appointment?
In most cases we start working on your request the same working day after your details are verified and payment is confirmed. The actual appointment date depends on slot availability at medical centres in your city, which we do not control.
What is the difference between Standard and Premium appointment?
With a Standard appointment the medical centre is allotted by the system. With a Premium appointment you can request a preferred date and preferred medical centre, subject to availability. Premium usually involves an additional official charge, which we disclose before booking.
Which documents do I need for the GAMCA medical?
Original passport (with at least 6 months validity recommended), a copy of the passport, your appointment slip, recent passport-size photographs and a copy of your visa or offer letter if available. See our Required Documents page for the full checklist.
Can I choose the medical centre?
Only with a Premium appointment, and only subject to availability. With a Standard appointment the medical centre is assigned automatically.
What happens if the details in my form are wrong?
The medical record is linked to your passport details, so incorrect name, passport number or date of birth can cause problems at the medical centre or during visa stamping. Please double-check everything. If you notice a mistake, contact us on WhatsApp immediately – before the appointment is booked.
Do you guarantee that I will be declared medically fit?
No. The medical examination and the fit/unfit decision are made only by the medical centre according to GCC health standards. We only help with appointment booking and have no role in medical results.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in some situations. If we have not yet started processing your booking, you can get a full refund of our service fee. Once an appointment has been booked, official charges are usually non-refundable. Please read our Refund Policy for full details.
Is my passport information safe?
We collect only the details needed to book the appointment, store them in a secure database with restricted access, and never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
What is the validity of the GAMCA medical report?
Validity is decided by the destination country and is commonly around 3 months from the date of examination. Confirm the current rule with your employer or agency, and avoid doing the medical too early if your visa will take time.
Which tests are done in the GAMCA medical?
Typically a general physical examination, chest X-ray, blood tests (such as HIV, hepatitis B and C, syphilis, blood group and others), urine and sometimes stool tests, and a pregnancy test for women. The exact list is set by GCC standards and the medical centre.
Do I need to fast before the medical?
Some centres advise fasting for certain blood tests. Follow the instructions on your appointment slip or given by the medical centre.
Can I book for my family members?
Yes. Submit a separate form for each person, using each person’s own passport details. Each person must attend the medical in person.
I live in a city that is not in your list. Can you still help?
Yes. Choose the nearest medical city from the list in the form – the medical result is valid irrespective of the Indian city. We will suggest the nearest suitable city with GCC-approved medical centres.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can book as a guest. Creating an account lets you see all your bookings in one place on the My Bookings page.
Why should I pay you instead of booking myself?
You do not have to – you can book yourself on wafid.com. People use our service when they want help checking details, choosing the right options, getting the slip on WhatsApp and having someone to ask questions. Our fee covers only this assistance.
